Who we are. Kettle On Ltd (company no. 17551941) ("Kettle On", "we"), registered office 31 Acacia Avenue, Birstall, Leicester, LE4 4HB, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact: [email protected], 07777 488869.
What we collect through our forms. We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Demo request form: your name, business name, mobile number, email (optional), trade, plan and message.
- Calculator report: your name and email, plus your business name and mobile if you add them, and the figures you entered in the calculator, so we can send your report.
- Live trial call ("Try it free"): your name, business name, trade, mobile and email, plus a recording, transcript and summary of your 3-minute call with our demo receptionist. We use these to show you the summary, email you a copy and follow up. We keep a record that your email has had a trial so each email gets one call.
- Call-back / free trial request: your name and mobile number, so we can ring you about the trial.
Each form asks you to tick a box before it sends. We use the details only to reply to your request, send what you asked for and follow up about our service. We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time.
Website analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies or local storage to track you, doesn't build a profile of you and isn't used for advertising. It records things like the page visited, the referring site, browser type, country and page load speed, in aggregate.
On your device. The site saves a small note in your browser's local storage so the call-back pop-up is only shown once. It isn't sent to us and isn't used for tracking. You can clear it in your browser settings. We don't use advertising cookies.
WhatsApp. If you message us using the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that chat, and we use your messages only to reply to you.
Lawful basis. Steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and understanding how our website is used (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with. We use trusted service providers to deliver form messages, measure website traffic, and host email and this website. They process data only on our instructions. Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We never sell your data.
Call recordings. If you become a customer, calls answered by your receptionist may be recorded and transcribed to provide the service. This is covered by a separate customer agreement.
How long we keep it. We keep enquiry and lead data for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. Analytics data is kept in aggregate only.
Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us to do so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
